Requested Information:

Here is another query that involves WWI. Jim sent this photo (below) to Paul Taylor, asking if we had any information on his great-uncle’s friend, Charles R Seeley and their time in France. The photo was taken of great-uncle Albert’s friends in France during WWI.

If you go to our website and look at Research Query 2009-B you will see that we have quite a bit on the family of Charles and Caroline Johnson Seely (http://www.seeley-society.net/qlist2k9-res.html). Although we have a marriage record for Charles and Caroline in Newtown, Fairfield, CT we haven’t been able to find Charles’ parents. However this query does add several of his descendants to the SGS Ancestral File. If this family seems familiar another branch was the subject of a query in the last newsletter (Query 1711-4).

If any of our readers are related to the Charles R Seeley of the photo please let us know and also contact the submitter.
