Monetary donations may be in check or money order, made out to “Seeley Genealogical Society”. Books, research notes, filing cabinets, or computer equipment are welcome. Please contact us before sending large items, so we can determine if we can use it, and make room for it. Currently, our Society headquarters is in a private home.
All our welcome to view our research on our website and to submit a query.
SGS works to answer all queries regardless of membership status. While we don’t require membership to use our resources, we would ask that you consider a membership or donation to SGS. Yes. SGS is a Title 501 (c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible for those who itemize.
Be specific and detailed: Give us as much information as you have about the person or family in question, especially dates and locations.
What resources have you already consulted? The SGS Publications? The census? Cemetery records? Ancestry.com?
What exactly do you want to know? Parent’s names and details? Information on siblings? Information on a family marrying into the Seeley family?
After your query is printed please keep us informed about any information you receive or any further progress you make on your own. Other members may also be interested or related to your line.
