The SGS’s Seventh Generation Book lists Squire Seeley (SGS # 1953) with the following information: SQUIRE SEELEY (b. 8 Jun 1780, Ballston, Saratoga Co., NY; d. 10 Mar 1838, Cherry Valley, Otsego Co., NY; will dated 13 Jan 1838; will proved 1 Sep 1838) m. 1st, 8 Jun 1805, Lucy Spencer (b. 6 Jul 1782; d. 19 May 1816). M. 2nd, 22 Sep 1816, Katherine Van Alstyn/Alstine (d. 19 Aug 1847). Squire Seeley is an eighth generation descendant of Robert Seeley, in Robert’s son Nathaniel’s line.
