MRS. J.A. SEELY PASSED AWAY AT HOME YESTERDAY

Well Known Troy Township Resident Will be Laid at Rest Today

Mrs. J.A. Seely, for many years a resident of Troy township, passed away yesterday morning at her home one-half mile north of Troy Center, aged 59 years. She was born in Plum township, Venango county, on July 26, 1863, and grew to womanhood there. On Feb. 26, 1885, she was united in marriage with Henry Yokum, who died twenty-one years ago. Later she was married to J.A. Seely, who survives her. She also leaves her aged father, C.A. Henderson, one son, Earl Yokum of Troy township, a daughter, Mrs. C.R. Armstrong, of Chapmanville and the following stepchildren: J.L. Seely of Oil City, R.R. Seely and W.L. Seely of Troy township and the following brothers and sisters: Zedric Henderson of Ranier, Ore., W.W. Henderson of Titusville, P.S. Henderson of Cherrytree township and Mrs. Phoebe Yokum of Troy township. There is also a stepbrother, C.H. Daniels, of Raymilton.

Mrs. Seely was held in high esteem by all who knew her and services in her memory will be held from the Troy Center church, Sunday, at 2:30 p.m., and the interment will follow in the Troy Center cemetery.

Funeral services in memory of Mrs. J.A. Seely were conducted at 2:30 o’clock Sunday at the Troy Center Methodist church, Rev. F.D. Gealy officiating. Relatives and friends from a distance were C.A. Seely and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seely, Mrs. Helena Rimlin, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Seely and son of Oil City; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seely, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Emerson of Enterprise; Mr. and Mrs. Delong, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Patterson, Charles Finch of Franklin; C.H. Daniels and family, William Doutt and family of Raymilton, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Camp of Meadville; Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Smith; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Nelson of Bradleytown; Mr. and Mrs. Will Morse and Family of Chapmanville; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Danford of New Richmond; Mrs. R.P. Seely; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Davison and family; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Deeter and family of Sunville; Mrs. Alice Clark and son of Geneya, Pa. The following acted as pallbearers: C.R. Armstrong, W.W. Henderson, C.H. Daniels, R.R. Seely, J.L. Seely and W.L. Seely.
