Sarah Frances Floyd Sealey, age 99, of Fairmont, NC died on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Linkhaw Place in Lumberton, NC. She was born on May 12, 1910 in Marion County, SC to Francis Floyd and Sallie Walters Floyd. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-five years, Carlos Betram Sealey; a son, Larry Sealey; a grandson, Jeffrey Sealey; and a son-in-law, Bobby L. Carter.
Mrs. Sealey is survived by one son, Wayne B. Sealey and wife, Pansy J. of Longs, SC; three daughters, Gail S. Fields and husband, Larry of Lumberton, NC, Iris S. Carter of Lumberton, NC and Violet S. Lewis and husband, Bobby K. of Fairmont, NC; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Oakton Baptist Church in Fairmont with Rev. Donald Paschall officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service.
Burial will be held at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
