Ruth Ellen SeelyeOctober 25, 1945 – February 5, 2017 Ruth Ellen Seelye, age 71 of Albion passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born October 26, 1945 to Claude and Margaret (Bird) Spoor in Traverse City, Michigan. She married Daniel R. Seelye who survives. Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Albion, she enjoyed reading, spending time at the cabin on Manistee River. She is survived by: She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Elizabeth DeView, Stephen Spoor and According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 600 E.
