Rose Marie Wolfe Sealey, 59
Rose Marie Wolfe Sealey, 59, a resident of South Scranton, died early Tuesday evening at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a brief illness. She and her husband, John Sealey, were married for 41 years.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Concetta Calianno Wolfe, Scranton, and the late Joseph A. Wolfe Sr., she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are a daughter, Marcie A. Sealey, Scranton; a son, John “Giovanni” Sealey Jr., Scranton; a brother, Joseph A. Wolfe Jr. and wife, Renee, Roaring Brook Township; a grandson, C.J. Williams, Scranton; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Ave. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the House of Care, Geisinger Foundation, c/o Development Office, Danville, 17822.
