Robert R. Seley, 86, of Alamogordo, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at his home. Mr. Seley was born May 13, 1920, in Byron, Neb., to Claude E. and Alicia E. (Shaw) Seley. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy. He retired from the Postal Service as a carrier, was also a retired farmer, and had later in life been a real estate agent. He was a good provider, hard-working and industrious. Survivors include a son, Robin R. Seley and his wife Vickie, of West Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter, Bobirley Marie Adams and her husband Ken, of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Dyanna Butcher, of Spencer, Iowa, Marissa Henry, of Johnston, Iowa, Kendra Simmons and her husband Ryan, of Apache Junction, Ariz., Shirley Adams, of Mesa, Ariz., Roger Seley and his wife Linda, of Denver, and Shawn Seley and his wife Cindy, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; six great-grandchildren; a beloved sister-in-law, Jenny Seley, of Alamogordo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
