Robert E. Seeley
Robert E. Seeley, 87, Leavenworth, a former auto worker, died Thursday, March 24, 1994, at the Platte City Caring Center, Platte City.
Mr. Seeley was born July 19, 1906, at Leavenworth, the son of Robert and Anna Jackson Seeley.
He worked for the Ford Motor Co., for 20 years. Mr. Seeley then moved to Minnesota where he operated a resort for a number of years. After retiring he moved back to Leavenworth. He was a member of the King Solomon Lodge No. 10, A.F. & A.M.; Leavenworth Chapter No. 2, R.A.M.; Leavenworth Council No. 1, R. & S.M.; and Leavenworth Commandery No. 1, Knights Templar.
He married Agnes Marie Nightingale on Oct. 31, 1926. She died in 1990.
Survivors include one grand-daughter, one grandson and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in the Mount Muncie Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Platte City Caring Center.
