Robert Dale Sealey

Robert Dale Sealey, 42, died May 29, 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska.

The son of Roger and Jean Sealey, Robert was born in Charleston, West Virginia. He graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was a member of the student government and Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He joined the West Virginia Army National Guard and later served with the Montana Army National Guard as a combat engineer. He had a career in the IT industry in Montana, Florida, and finally Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his father Roger and is survived by his fiancée Anne French of Anchorage, his mother Jean and sister Cari Boyce (Jacksonville, Florida), brother, Darrin Sealey (Alexandria, Virgini), nephew Nicholas Boyce of the United States Navy, niece Hope Sealey and great-nephew Grayson Sealey (St. Albans, West Virginia) and stepmother Terry Baggett (Greenville, South Carolina)

A Facebook page “In Remembrance of Robert Sealey” has been created for friends and family to share memories of Robert. Donations in Robert’s memory can be made to the Alaska Mountain Rescue Group (www.amrg.org).
