Richard W. Seeley
Richard W. Seeley, 56, of 4441 West Mesa Pass, died Friday, Aug. 31, in Veterans Hospital.
He was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Blossburg, Pa. On Aug. 10, 1956, he married Barbara Barre in Holyoke, Mass. After completing a 30-year career in the Air Force, he moved to Sioux Falls in 1984 where he was employed by the Veterans Administration.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include his wife; one son Richard William II of Sioux Falls; five daughters; Mrs. Rick (Cindy) Maddux of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Mrs. Randy (Sharon) Draper of Aberdeen; Mrs. Bruce (Karen) Orke of Dodge Center, Minn.; and Mrs. David (Lynn) Sabie and Sandra Seeley, both of Sioux Falls; one brother, J. Harold of Philadelphia, Pa.; and three sisters: Mrs. Dale (Helen) Palmer of Lady Lake, Fla.; Mrs. Richard (Alice) Lass of Ogden, Utah; and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Paris of Cooper’s Plains, N.Y.
Services begin at 10:30a.m. Monday in Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
