Seely, a retired oil company associate in Spokane, Wash., had resided in Phoenix the past three years.  His home was at 2319 E. Earll Dr.

An earlier story of the accident incorrectly identified him as a partner in Seely Realty, 2243 N. 16th St., which is solely owned by Seely’s brother, F.R. (Bob) Seely, of Phoenix.

Surviving besides his brother are his wife, Rose; three sons, Melvin R., Spokane; Edward Penn, Wichita, Kan.; and Victor Jack, Scottsdale; a daughter, Doris Alloway, Phoenix, and another brother, Alfred J., Tulsa, Okla.

Seely’s son, Edward, piloted the plane which crashed, killing Seely and a Wichita man, Carroll Spohn, 45.  The son received slight injuries.
