Nellie Seeley

The death of Mrs. Henry Seeley occurred at the family home on Main street, in Ulysses, Pa., Friday, May 12, following many months of ill health.  Nellie Davis, the daughter of Aldus and Hattie Davis, was born in Midland, Texas, February 22, 1887.  She was married in 1921 to Henry Seeley and to this union was born one daughter, Marion, who survives.  She also leaves her husband, Henry Seeley, her mother, Mrs. Hattie Mascho, and one brother, Charles Davis of Texas.  For many years, Mrs. Seeley has been a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church and during her residence of eleven years in this place she has won the respect of many friends who hold her in high regard.  The funeral was held Monday at 2:30 P.M. at the family home on Main street.  Rev. Kenneth Baker, pastor of the local church officiated.  Burial was made in the Ulysses cemetery.

Out of town friends who were here Monday to attend the funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Seeley were: Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Seeley, of Tully, N.Y.; Mrs. Ellen Mascho and son, Albert, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mascho, of Brookfield, Pa.; Ira Seeley and son, Theodore  Seeley, Mrs. Orael Beason and Harvey Smith, of Campbell, N.Y.; and Mrs. Belle Hess, of Sabinsville, Pa.
