Mike Seeley

NASHVILLE – Mike Seeley, 51, Owner and operator of the Nashville Locker Plant, died Saturday evening in Pennock Hospital in Hastings.  He had been a patient there for three days.  For 18 years, Mr. Seeley owned the Seeley Distributing Co.  He was a veteran of World War II.  At the time of his death, he was commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars post No. 8260 in Nashville.  Mr. Seeley also was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 131 at Battle Creek.  He was born in Climax, son of Ruel and Carrie (Stevens) Seeley.  On May 25, 1952, he was married to Clara Stevens in Vermontville.  Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Whaley of Lansing and Miss Karla Seeley at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Bracey and Mrs. Doris Callaway, both of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Bertha Ketcham of Lacey.
