Mary Elizabeth Bush Seely

HAMILTON – Mary Elizabeth Bush Seely, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at her home in Hamilton. She was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Pickens County, Ala., to John Bush and Jettie Cunningham Bush. She lived in Monroe County for the past 75 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Fig Hill Church of God in Hamilton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Richard Kendrick and Bro. Tony Rooks officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include five daughters, Annetta Guined and Helen Smith (Charles), both of Hamilton, Mildred Brown of Vernon, Ala., Margaret West (Doyle) of Aberdeen and Carol Anderson (David) of High Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvel Lee Seely; a son, Spencer Lee Seely; two grandsons, Dale Guined and Duane Guined; a sister, Elouise Bush Richardson; three brothers, Willie Bush, Eugene Bush and John Bush; and two sons-in-law, W.T. Guined and Wade Brown.

Pallbearers will be Charles Lee Smith, Mark Smith, Stacy Guined, Marcus Brown, Michael Anderson and Roy Dean Seely.
