Mrs. M.E. Seeley Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Mary E. Seeley, 65, 46 Birkett St., Carbondale, died Friday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Carbondale, where she was admitted July 21.
A native of Vanding, she resided most of her life in Carbondale. She was the widow of Ralph R. Seeley and a daughter of the late John T. and Ann Wilson Rowe.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia, at home; two sons, Raymond R., Carbondale, and Edgar B., Syracuse; a brother, William Rowe, Detroit, and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Shifler Funeral Home, 94 North Main St., Carbondale. Rev. Arthur W. Meneely, Berean Baptist Church, Carbondale, will officiate. Interment, Canaan Corner Cemetery, Waymart.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
