Altoona – Marjorie Seley, 88 passed away on May 24, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Marge graduated from North High School in 1948. She enjoyed her employment at Diamond Scientific immensely. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and Funeral Committee. She enjoyed reading, embroidering, family gatherings and spending time with friends.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Darrold; her parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Warren; sisters, Pat Singer and Susan Curtis; and brothers, Gary, Neil and Dennis Warren. She is survived by daughter, Kathy Cox, Omaha, Nebraska; sons, Greg (Sandy) and Brad (Lori), Altoona, Iowa; her sister Kate, Azusa, California; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Grandview Funeral Home, 3211 Hubbell Avenue, on Monday, May 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to follow. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3300 Easton Boulevard. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or Mercy Hospice of Johnston.
