Marie F. Seeley, 93, of Troy PA, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at her home.
Marie was born on June 3, 1924, the daughter of Joseph and Maude (Shoemaker) Foust. She and her husband, Lewis, established and operated the Milky Way Farms Dairy Bar business since the year 1962. Marie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Troy.
Marie is survived by her sons, Dennis (Jean) Seeley of East Aurora, NY; Vance (Terry) Seeley of Towanda, PA; Kim (Ann) Seeley of Troy; and daughter, Beth (Claude) Carman of Troy. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jodi, John and Dennis Ulmer; RaeAnn, Larry, Craig, and Emma Poturalski; Jeriah, Audrey, Macy, Wesley and Lila Ameigh; Nicole, Steve, Anson and Nora Harris; Brynne, Kyah and Kabe Renzo; Brett, Drew and Delaney Carman; Jessica, Jack and Audra Seeley; and Dane Seeley. Marie is also survived by her brother Joey (Ellen) Foust and sister-in-law Marie Foust.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis, and grandson, Shon Seeley; and sisters, Blanche (Thomas) Mott, Norma (Lial) Shedden, Betty (Wilbur) Slingerland, and brother Ted Foust.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, West Main Street, Troy PA. Marie’s service will be held at the church at the conclusion of calling hours at 12:00 with Pastor Bill Bardo and the Reverend Garry Zuber officiating. A private interment will follow for immediate family at the Windfall Cemetery.
