Margaret Dean Seely, 89, of rural Weir, died at 2:20PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in the Girard Medical Center in Girard, Kansas.

Margaret was born February 22, 1926 on the family farmstead in the McCune area. A daughter of Oliver and Goldie (Clugston) Boyd. Margaret grew up and spent most of her life in the McCune area.

She married Paul E. H. Seely on October 3, 1946. Paul preceded her in death on October 8, 2014. Margaret worked on their farm. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and also worked in the community. She worked at Parsons Ammunition plant, Anshires, JCPenney and Del-Letters.

She was a member of the McCune United Methodist Church. Margaret enjoyed and loved her family and friends. There are not enough words to explain our beloved Margaret.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Schulz, Lancy Kay Spencer, Robert & wife Tori Seely, Kenny Paul Seely, Jerry Seely, Sherry & husband Wayne Vineyard, five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Extra siblings include Bob Warne of Bentley, Kansas; Sonny Melton and Tony Clinton; eight extra grand-children; fourteen extra great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, two son-in-laws, a grandson and her husband. Margaret also had many other people in her life who she claimed. You are all never forgotten by her or us.

Celebration of life will be 2pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral home in Pittsburg, Kansas. She will then be laid to rest in the McCune Cemetery following the services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm Tuesday until service time. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to Weir Saddle Club. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg, Kansas 66762. Services are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg, Kansas.
