HARTFORD – Mabel L. Seeley, 93, died Monday (July 20, 1992) at Rowan Court Nursing Home in Barre, Vt., following a long illness.
Born on August 18, 1898, in Hebron, she was the daughter of James and Ermine (Starks) Stark.
Her husband, Seymour Seeley, three brothers and two sisters all died before her.
Mrs. Seeley retired from General Electric Co. She was an avid gardener and had a roadside stand on Route 149 for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Guy W. Lake of Randolph Center, Ct., and Raymond C. Lake of North Hero, Vt.; one daughter, Dorothy Raymer of Claremont, N.H.; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, with the Rev. David Dempsey officiating.
Burial will take place at Moss Street Cemetery in Hudson Falls.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home.
