Vermillion – Luella Seeley, 84, died Tuesday, March 23, 1993, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Luella Russell was born Oct. 21, 1908, in Vermillion. She spent her life in the Vermillion area.
She married Theodore Seeley on June 29, 1941, in Iowa. He died in 1979. She worked at Chimes Restaurant for many years. She also worked as a baby sitter for many years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vermillion, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, and was a life member of the Senior Citizens Center in Vermillion.
Survivors include one son, Russell B. Lilly of Vermillion, three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home in Vermillion, with burial in Bluff View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family being present from 7 to 8 p.m.
