SEELY, Lucille Sowle – A resident of San Carlos since 1936. Widowed by George P. Seely, a retired San Carolos Police Chief who passed away in 1975. Mrs. Seely was one of 12 children. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Weissel, of Little River, CA, who is a retired San Carlos Police Dispatcher and her son, Robert E. Seely, a retired Sunnyvale detective lieutenant and his wife, Jimmae. Her grandchildren are Steve Seely of Sunnyvale, Scott Seely and his wife, Ann of San Jose, Michael Seely of S.F. and Susan Seely-Herfurth of San Jose and her husband Ken. Also a great-granddaughter, Amber Herfurth of San Jose. Her sisters are Virginia Harrington of Lathron, CA. Lucille Bowled in the San Carlos Sr. Bowling League for many years. She and her husband, George had been active in volunteer work with the Salvation Army & Ready Meals.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday the 7th of Feb. at 10 AM at White Oaks Chapel, 1696 El Camino Real, San Carlos. Visitation will begin at 5 PM, Tuesday the 6th. Interment at Skylawn Memorial Park.
