HAMPTON – Lottie Bruce Sealey, 79, surrounded by her family at home, went to be with her Heavenly family on July 27, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Walton Bruce; her sister, Gladys (Tootsie) Sealey; and her brother, Forrest Bruce.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph A. Sealey; her children, Carolyn Sealey Kamleiter (Thomas Kamleiter), Sandra Sealey and Joseph A. Sealey Jr. (Michelle Vanasse Sealey). She was proud to have five grandchildren, Leah Kamleiter Gibson, Thomas Kehoe, Justin Sealey, Christopher Sealey and Elliot Kamleiter.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666, where she was a loyal and faithful member for more than 60 years. Contributions may also be made to Heartland Hospice of Newport News, whose thoughtful care was appreciated over the past months.
