SEELEY – On Monday, May 22, 2000 Linda Isabel Seeley passed away at the age of 87 years.  Predeceased by her husband Currie; parents Isobelle and Tom; and brother Roland.  Lin is survived by daughter Peg (George) Achtymichuk, of Regina; son Tom (Wendy) Seeley of Yorkton; grandchildren: Gerald (Brenda) Achtymichuk of Saskatoon, Brent Achtymichuk of Toronto, Tracy Seeley of Toronto and Twila Seeley of Guayaquil, Ecuador; great grandchildren: Ayryn and Jamie Achtymichuk; brother Tom (Olive) Crowhurst of Surrey, B.C., Harold (Bea) Crowhurst of Regina; sister Mary Reich of Craik; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Lin was born May 23, 1912 in County of Kent, England.  She came to Canada with her parents and siblings in 1926.  She married Currie in 1933 and resided in the Grand Coulee district where she farmed and raised her family with her husband.  During 1990, she moved to Regina.  Lin was a willing community supporter and enjoyed the sport of curling, both as a participant and fan.  Along with her husband, Lin was the founding member of the Grand Coulee Old Tyme Jug Band.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 200 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Lori Erhardt officiating.  Interment in Regina Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to the C.N.I.B. or a charity of choice.  Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.
