SEELY – In this city, March 4, at his late residence, 1813 Baker street, Lewis Warren Seely, beloved husband of Marguerite Roberta Seely, and brother of Mary and Frank Howard Seely, a native of Honesdale, Pa., aged 48 years, 2 months and 23 days. (Honesdale, Pa., and Washington, D.C., papers please copy.)

Friends and Companions of the Loyal Legion are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Thursday, March 9, at 1:30 o’clock, from the chapel of N. Gray & Co., 2196 Geary street, corner of Devisadero. Interment, Cypress Lawn Cemetery, by electric funeral car from Thirtieth street and San Jose avenue.

SON OF DISTINGUISHED FIGHTING FAMILY DIES

Lewis Warren Seely, a patent attorney, who has been a resident of this city for nearly twenty years, died early yesterday morning at his home, 1813 Baker street, after an illness from pneumonia.  He leaves a widow, Mrs. Margaret Roberta Seely.  Seely was the son of the late Colonel Franklin A. Seely, United States Army, and the grandson of General Henry Wessels, who fought in the civil War.  Other soldier ancestors played a prominent part in the Revolutionary War.  Seely was a member of the Loyal Legion and Cosmos Club.
