Leroy A. Seeley, South Canaan RD 3, died Saturday at Community Medical Center following an illness.
He was a lifelong resident of South Canaan and the son of the late Wesley and Mary Hoadley Seeley. He was employed at Waymart Knitwear before retiring Dec. 1980.
Surviving are two brothers, Harold, Avoca; Robert, Greeley; six sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Robinson, Somerfield, Fla.; Mrs. Emma Bronson, Mrs. Margaret Field, Mrs. Laura Evarts; all of Lake Ariel; Mrs. Mildred Evarts, Scranton; Mrs. Shirley Orinick, Waymart; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the James H. Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel, with Rev. Donald Vanderhoof, S. Canaan Free Methodist Church; officiating. Interment, E. Canaan Cemetery. Viewing, today, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Canaan Christian Academy, RD2 Lake Ariel.
