NORTHPORT – Kenneth Wayne Sealy, age 78, of Northport, Ala., died May 19, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Five Points Baptist Church with Ben Jameson officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Chapel Church Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, S. J and Margaret Sealy and sister, Juanita Corlett.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Sealy daughter, Tammy Sealy Ellis (Jeff); step-daughter, Kaitlin Martin; sisters, Marie Smith (Terry), Mattie Taylor (Donald), Sandra Keith and Marcia Redd (Terry); brother, Bennie Sealy (Sybil); grandchildren, Trent Fondren (Katie) and Tyler Fondren; and nieces and nephews, Jamie Clayton, Tonya Stewart, Buddy Vick, Ted Vick, Heath Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Dana Keith, Chris Sealy and Ashley Stigler.
Kenneth owned and operated Sealy’s Service Station and Sealy’s Firewood in Northport, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Taylor, Heath Taylor, Tony Phillips, Chris Sealy, Dale Phillips and Jason Cook.
Honorary pallbearers are special friend Stan Pate, Brad Bull, Lee Scott, employees of Pate Companies, Cancer Care Center of Tuscaloosa, Dr. Sanford and Dr. Zak, Dr. Chunil Chandra, Dr. Jeanne Lipscomb and the nurses of Hospice of West Alabama.
