Kathleen J Seely passed away Sunday October 20, 2019 at her home.
A graveside service will be held at Pine lawn Memorial Park Cemetery; located at 448 US HWY 70 Kinston, NC on Friday October 25, 2019 at 2 pm. A celebration of life will be held after.
Kathleen, aka” Kitty Kat”, was born in New Bern, NC on February 11, 1921 to the late Richard Lee Jones and Etta Hill Jones. She sought a great adventure marrying Willis R Seely and moved to New York City, and never looked back. She was kind, loving and giving, opening her home to many. Kitty Kat will always be remembered for her generosity and kind heart.
She is survived by her daughter Jaqueline Trier and husband John Trier; granddaughters April Dudley, husband Mike, Stacey Pomeroy, husband Gary and Kristine Ebbe, husband Steven; four great-grandchildren, Nathan and Maggie Pomeroy, Alivia Ebbe and Crystal Dudley; sister, Thelma Stanley; and countless extended family. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Husband, Willis R Seely; sons Patrick Seely and Robert Seely; one sister, and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation of Greater Greensboro,2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro NC 27405, or a charity of your choice, in memory of Kathleen.
