June Seeley of Sidney
June Seeley, age 91, of 36 Pleasant Street, Sidney, and formerly of Unadilla and Bainbridge, New York, died Thursday, March 15, 1984 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Utica. He is survived by his son, James M. Seeley, Cape Coral, Florida; one grandson, Douglas M. Seeley, of Canandaigua, New York; six sisters, Miss Mary Seeley, Mrs. Addie Rutenber, Mrs. Sarah Freiberger, and Mrs. Nellie Rutenber, all of Sidney, Mrs. Ruth Tripp of Norwich, and Mrs. Daisey Cochran of Harrisville, New York; a brother, George Seeley of Sidney Center. Also surviving are two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Sidney United Methodist Church and the Freedom Lodge #324 F & A.M., Unadilla.
Funeral and interment services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 from the Sidney United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dwight E. Giles, Sr., pastor, officiating. Burial will be late in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at their convenience Monday at the funeral chapel. The family will be in attendance from 7 to 9 p.m. The Unadilla Masonic Lodge will conduct memorial services 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral chapel.
