Julia A. Seely-Roach

Julia A. Seely-Roach, 82, of Plain City, died Monday evening. Retired from the Claremont Retirement Village in Columbus. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday.

Julia Ann Seely-Roach, 82, of Plain City died Monday evening, July 13th at her home. She was a retired nursing home aid at Claremont Retirement Village.

In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to Blue Grass Music. She also loved to play bingo, cards, and dominos with her friends at the senior center.

Julia was born July 7, 1933 in Unionville Center to the late Francis and Verdie (Cantner) Salsbury. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, William Seely and John Roach, and her lifetime soulmate, Otis Clay; son-in-law Richard Miller.

She is survived by her children, Joni (Eddie) Still of Unionville Center, Kenneth (Debbie) Seely of Mechanicsburg, Kimberly Pyles-Miller of Columbus, Boyce Seely of Plain City, Scott Seely and his fiancée Carrie Benadum of Plain City; 14 grandchildren including Travis Burrey whom she raised as her own; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister Ella Jean Loy and her son Johnny Beachy of Plain City.

Calling hours will be 5-8 pm Thursday at the Ingram Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 11 am Friday with the Rev. Wayne Engle officiating. Burial will follow at Unionville Center Cemetery.

In Julia’s memory, contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in care of the funeral home.
