Doniphan resident Joyce E. Seely, 49, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home chapel in Grand Island with the Rev. Jeff Hale officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in rural Doniphan. Visitation is until 9 p.m. today with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Miss Seely was born May 18, 1951, to Lloyd G. and Mildred A. (Hill) Seely in Hastings. She grew up on a farm and graduated from Doniphan High School in 1969. She was self-employed and was a child-care provider.
Survivors are two sisters, Peggy Lipps of St. Libory and Judy Seely of Doniphan; and two brothers, Robert of Grand Island and Thomas of Doniphan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Memorials may be given to the Kidney Foundation or to the donor’s choice.
