Mrs. Joyce A. Seelye, aged 68, of Howard City, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008. A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be left with the funeral chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.

SEELYE – Mrs. Joyce A. Seelye aged 68, of Howard City, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her sons, Daniel and Joseph. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Lyle; children, Jean (Rodney) Kogler, Jacqueline (Bruce) Bowen, Susan (Henry) Benedict, Robert Seelye; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd “Billy” Fowler, Thomas (Lola) Burley; brothers-in-law, Wayne Seelye, Paul (Kathy) Seelye; sisters-in-law, Mary (Fred) Merritt, Sally (John) LaPree; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held 1:30 Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Alaska Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be left with the funeral chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.
