Mr. Joseph Franklin Seeley II, age 72, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born January 9, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas, he was the son of the late Joseph Franklin and Ruby Round Seeley.
He was a member of The Pointe Church. He loved his Lord and loved to serve. Mr. Seeley worked for Uarco/Standard Register for 26 years and Caterpillar for 10 years before retiring.
Family members include his wife of the home, Kathy LeMaster Seeley; daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Ronnie Rafala of Toccoa and Angela and Joseph Tucker of Toccoa; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph “Joey” Franklin Seeley III and Tamela of Gainesville, Florida; grandchildren, Trevor Tucker, Ashton Rafala, Kinsey Rafala, Alyssa Tucker, Grayson Rafala, Ayden Seeley, and Brylen Seeley; a sister, Carol Seeley Halderman; sister-in-law, Bobbie Lonsinger; brother-in-law, David and Jean LeMaster; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Seeley Pagels; and brothers-in-law, John Lonsinger and Bill LeMaster.
Funeral services will be held at six o’clock Tuesday, December 17 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Mr. Joseph F. Seeley, III, the Rev. Chad Smith, the Rev. Jerry Chitwood officiating.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 4pm until 5:45 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
