JOSEPH C. SEELYE

Joseph C. Seelye, 81, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 6610 Orell Road.

He was a native of Meade County and a retired laborer.

Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth Shaw; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Miller; three sons, Huston Seelye, Parkersburg, W.Va.; Arthur Seelye, Brandenburg, Ky., and Gerald Seelye; a brother, Richard Seelye, Vine Grove, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mildred Rouse, Abilene, Tex., and Mrs. Earl E. Deetch; a stepson, James C. Payne, and seven grandchildren.

The body will be at the family residence.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter of the Valley Episcopal Church with burial in Garnettsville Cemetery, Meade County.

SEELYE, Mr. Joseph C. of 6610 W. Orell Rd., Valley Station, Ky., passed away in his 82nd year, Tuesday, April 11, 1961, at 10 p.m. at his residence.  Beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Seelye; devoted father of Mrs. Marie Miller, Messrs, Gerald, Arthur and Huston Seelye; brother of Mr. Richard Seelye; also survived by 3 stepchildren, Mrs. Mildred Rouse, Mrs. Earl E. Deetch and Mr. James C. Payne, 7 grandchildren.  Remains at his residence.  Funeral services Friday, April 14, at 10 a.m. at the St. Peters in the Valley Episcopal Church.  Interment Garnettsville Cemetery, Meade County, Kentucky.
