Joseph Bernard Seeley
Joseph Bernard Seeley of Glens Falls, who had been an employee of the Portland Cement Co. for 50 years, died Thursday (June 20, 1985) in Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness. He was 82.
A resident of 142 Broad St., Mr. Seeley was born in Glens Falls, March 15, 1903, the son of William and Cordelia SanSouci Seeley.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; a daughter, Marilyn St. Onge of Glens Falls; two sons, Richard and Michael Seeley, both of Glens Falls; a brother, Basil Seeley, also of Glens Falls; a sister, Evelyn Hoag of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Alphonsus Church, Glens Falls. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at the family home, 142 Broad St., Glens Falls.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Sullivan and Minahan Funeral Home, 67 Park St., Glens Falls.
