Mattoon Man’s Brother Dies
Jonas Seeley, 78, of Decatur, a brother of Ira W. Seeley of Mattoon, died at his home Wednesday after a three months’ illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the United Brethren church in Toledo with burial in Berry cemetery.
Mr. Seeley was born in Toledo, July 16, 1869, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Seeley. He married Miss Eva Pearl Brown in Maquoketa, Ia., and they had made their home in Decatur for the past 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Horace T. of Los Angeles, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Leona M. Skinkle of Crystal Lake, two brothers, Ira W. of Mattoon and Robert of Dupont, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Stark of Decatur and Mrs. Ella White of Ferndale, Wash.
