SEELYE, John W., 66 yrs. Resided at route 1 Starlite, Ind., died Mon., evening at Floyd County Hospital.  Native of Hardin County, KY.  A retired night watchman from the Dixie Warehouse in Louisville.  A member of Chapel Hill Christian Church.  Surviving, wife, the former Nellie Pellman, three sons, John W. Seelye, Louisville; Earl Seelye, Jeffersonville, Ind; Dale W. Seelye, Starlite, Ind.; One daughter, Dorias Walls, Starlite, Ind.  One brother, Douglas V. Seelye, Watertown, NY; One sister, Mrs. Ethel Frances Henon, Louisville.  Thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.  Funeral services 10:00 am. Thurs. at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with burial in Rock Haven Methodist Cemetery in Meade Co. Ky.

STARLIGHT – John Seelye, 66, died Monday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

He was a native of Hardin County, Ky., a retired night watchman for Dixie Warehouse & Cartage Co. in Louisville, and a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nellie Pellman; three sons, John W. Seelye of Louisville, Earl Seelye of Jeffersonville, and Dale W. Seelye; a daughter, Mrs. Dorias Walls; a brother, Douglas V. Seelye of Watertown, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel F. Henon of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kraft Funeral Home in New Albany with burial in Rockhaven Methodist Cemetery in Meade County, Ky.
