Death of John Seeley

John Seeley, a prominent farmer and stock raiser, died at his home in Middlebury Sunday afternoon of pneumonia at the age of 88 years.  He is survived by three sons, Edward, Charles J., and Julius, and a daughter, Mrs. Delia Belden of St. Joseph, Mich.  The funeral was held at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon from his late home.  Rev. Thomas Simms, pastor of the Congregational church, officiated and the interment was in the Seeley district cemetery.

John Seeley, a long time resident and well known horseman and farmer, died at his home in the Seeley district Sunday, after a short illness from pneumonia.  He drove to town last week Wednesday and remarked then how well he was.  Mr. Seeley was born in Brandon 84 years ago.  He is survived by three sons, Edward, Julius and Charles Seeley, who live here, and a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Belding of St. Joseph, Mich.  The funeral was held from the residence of Julius Seeley Wednesday afternoon.  Burial was made in the Seeley cemetery.
