John Seeley Rites Here on Sunday
Funeral services will be held in Lincoln Sunday at 2 p.m. for John Seeley, 84, who died in Halsey at the home of his son, Ferris Seeley. Rev. Edward Jeambey will officiate and burial will be in Wyuka.
Mr. Seeley moved with his parents from Des Moines to York county at the age of 6 and spent the rest of his life in Nebraska, living in Lincoln about 20 years.
He married Clara Walters on March 10, 1889. Since his wife’s death in 1943 he spent much of his time with his son near Halsey.
Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
