Final Rites Conducted For Absarokee Resident
Absarokee, July 28. – Funeral services were held Saturday at the Congregational church for John Knox Seely, 74, who died at his home here Wednesday. Burial was in the Rosebud cemetery.
Mr. Seely was born at Glenville, Minn., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Seely. He came to Montana during the eighties and lived at Big Timber for several years before moving to Nye when it was a mining center. He later lived at East Rosebud before moving to Absarokee.
For 20 years Mr. Seely was a mail carrier between Absarokee and Beehive. He was married Dec. 30, 1934, to Estory Rhyneer who survives him.
