John Chester Seely
John Chester Seely, 81, Springfield, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, March 11, 2017 at Cox Medical Center South. He was born July 16, 1935 to George and Daisy (Keener) Seely at Konawa, Oklahoma.
He was a SMSGT in the United States Air Force, retiring after twenty six years of service.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Delbert Seely, his first wife Ruby Jewel (Coffey) Seely in 1993 and his wife Patricia Seely in 2011.
Survivors include his son Donald Seely and wife Terese of Van Buren, Missouri, two daughters, Denise Morgan and husband Rick of Van Buren, Missouri and Deborah Scoggins and husband Jack of Hamilton, Montana, four grandchildren, Josh Scoggins, Darlene Scoggins, Jennifer Silman and Crystal Brawley, five great grandchildren, Mikel Brawley, Austin Brawley, Jackson Scoggins, Jayden Jewel Silman, and Jace Silman, and one great great grandchild, Bentley Brawley survives. Also surviving are his siblings, Esther Castellanos and Wanda Martin, Dave Seely, Doug Seely and Ann Cavanaugh.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery, Manteca, California.
