Jo Ann Sealey, 71 of Leesburg, FL passed away on Jan. 29, 2012. She was born on May 31, 1940 in Samson County, North Carolina to Edgar and Lula Francis (Tendell) Tutor who precede her in death. Jo Ann took pride in caring for her family and loved them all, but the joy of her life was her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with them, and she rarely took a photo without one of the kids with her in the picture. She also loved to fish and spend time outdoors. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa and 5 sisters: Mildred, Faye, Katie, Claira May and Kathleen.. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Lyman; her children: David Sealey, Donna (Mike) Owens, Brenda (Rick) Berg, Chuck (Lisa) Sealey, Lynnie (Michelle) Sealey, Karen (John) Zidek and Joey (Angela) Sealey; her brothers, Donald Tutor and Billy Tutor; her sisters, Hazel Harrell and Sara Grinstead; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 1 from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be Thursday, Feb 2 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
