SEELEY – Miss Jennie Seeley, 89, of 36 Pleasant St., Sidney, N.Y., died Wednesday at The Hospital, Sidney after an extended illness. Survived by two brothers, June Seeley, Sidney and George M. Seeley, Sidney Center; six sisters, Miss Mary E. Seeley, Sidney; Mrs. Ruth Tripp, Sidney; Mrs. Addie Rutenber, Sidney; Mrs. Sara Frieberger, Sidney; Mrs. Daisy Cochran, Harrisville, N.Y.; Mrs. Nellie Rutenber, Sidney; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sidney; she was a teacher and taught several years in Delaware and Chenango Counties; she attended the Moody Institute in Chicago, Ill. and taught as a missionary in Chinatown, New York City.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the C.H. Landers Chapel, Sidney, N.Y. The Rev. Donald R. Ireland, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Sidney, officiating. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.
