Hollis C. Seeley

Cass City  Hollis C. Seeley, 54, building contractor and resident most of his life of Cass City, died Wednesday in Cass City Hospital where he was a patient since Sunday.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seeley, he was born Feb. 19, 1912 in Ellington township, Tuscola County.

He and Miss Hazel Hower, Cass City, were married Sept. 5, 1936, at Dearborn.

Mr. Seeley was a member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Misses Sherryl and Janis Seeley, who live with their parents; a son, Charles Seeley, Belleville: a grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Price, Caro; Mrs. Edward Anthes, Deford, and Mrs. John Anderson, Birmingham, and four brothers, Clark, Oscar, Earney and Alfred Seeley, all of Cass City.  The remains are in Little’s Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Rev. Ira Wood, pastor of Salem Church, and Rev. Stanley P. Kirn, retired pastor of the church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Elkland Cemetery.
