Mrs. William Seeley Paid Last Honors

INOQUOIS, April 20 – The funeral of Mrs. William Seeley was held from the residence of her son, Jesse Seeley, Matilda township, with Rev. Fred Williams, pastor of Carleton Place and Rev. Gordon F. Dangerfield of Iroquois United Church officiating.

The body was place in the vault at Dixons to await burial in Dundela cemetery later.

Mrs. Seeley, a widely known citizen of Matilda township died at the home of her son Jesse Seeley, with whom she resided for the past number of years.  She was in her 94th year.

Mrs. Seeley, formerly Hester Ault, was the daughter of Phillip Ault and his wife Ann Edwards of Matilda.  Mr. Seeley predeceased her 32 years ago.

Surviving are five sons, Jesse, Morgan and Orval of Matilda township; Wellington, of Prescott; Clinton, of Burlington; 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
