MT. PLEASANT – Hans Rex Seely, 86, died July 24, 1978 in a local hospital of natural causes.
Born Feb. 7, 1892, Castle Dale, to Justus Lehi and Annie Margaret Jensen Seely. Married Mary Mae Krebs Sept. 17, 1917, Manti. Member, LDS Church. Worked most of his life in mines of Carbon County as a foreman.
Survivors: wife; sons and daughters, R. Dean Seely, Roy; Mrs. Richard E. (Wanda) Olson, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. William S. (Donna) Jackson and Mrs. Charles A. (Dixie) Wix, both of Glendale, Ariz.; L. Reid Seely, Bountiful; Mrs. Kenner (Patsy) Christiansen, Salt Lake; Mrs. James N. (Shanna) Jones, Roy; Larry W. Seely, Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Mrs. C.F. (Vanessa) Montgomery and Mrs. Berlie Kirk, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. S.A. (Cecil) Dobbs and Mrs. Ray J. (Blanche) Olson, both of Mt. Pleasant; Willis R. Seely, La Verkin, Washington County.
Funeral service was July 27, Mt. Pleasant 1st and 4th LDS Ward Chapel. Burial Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
