Mrs. Guiena Seelye
HARMONY, Minn. (Special) – Mrs. Guiena Seelye, 98, longtime resident, died early this morning at Green Lea Manor Rest Home, Mabel.
The former Guiena Lund, she was born Feb. 13, 1865, at Stavenger, Norway, to Jacob and Guri Lund. She came here as a young girl and was married to Frank Seelye Feb. 21, 1889. He died in 1948. She was a member of Newburg Methodist Church.
Survivors are: Two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Ocea) Watkins, Harmony, and Mrs. Lawrence (Louise) Blagsvedt, Winona; five grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. One son has died.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at Peterson-Abraham Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Guiena Seelye
HARMONY, Minn (Special) – Funeral services for Mrs. Guiena Seelye will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harmony Methodist Church, the Rev. Allyn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Lenara Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Blagsvedt, Gary and Roy Flattum, David Holien, Jacob Zeckes and Robert Noecker.
Friends may call at Peterson-Abraham Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today and at the church after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
