Seeley Rites Today In Newport News
Newport News – A funeral service for Glenn R. Seeley, 56, who died Tuesday in his home, 16 Meadow Drive, will be conducted in Riverside Funeral Chapel today at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.
A native of Norfolk, he lived in Newport News more than 30 years. He was a draftsman employed at Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co. His late parents were Ralph and Mrs. Emma Spaulding Seeley Mears.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Geneva Terry Seeley; a daughter, Miss Barbara Jean Seeley of California; two brothers, William Harry Seeley of Norfolk and Ralph A. Seeley of Hampton; a half sister, Mrs. Lura Hornik of Portsmouth; and a half brother, Walter Mears of Great Bridge.
