Brandon, Fla. – Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Drew Seeley, 59, wife of Dr. Elwood W. Seeley, Brandon, Fla., formerly of Ludlow, Vt., who died Aug. 14 at Lakeland, were conducted Aug. 16 at Stowers Chapel by the Rev. James Shearer, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church. Linsley Chapter, OES, was in charge of the Eastern Star Services. Cremation followed.
Mrs. Seeley was born in Ashland, Maine, March 17, 1906, daughter of E. Drew and Martha E. McCarty. She was a graduate of Ashland High School and attended nurses training in Bangor, Maine.
She was a resident for many years on Lake Rescue in Ludlow, Vt., moving to Brandon, Fla., in 1964. While living in Ludlow, she attended the First Baptist Church and was a past matron of Keystone Chapter, Order of Eastern Star of Ludlow.
In 1960 she was appointed grand representative of the General Chapter of Kentucky, near the Grand Chapter of Vermont, and served as a grand representative until Jan. 1953.
Survivors besides her husband include a son, Kenneth D. Bartlett of Millinocket, Maine; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Dunn of Ashland and Mrs. Peter Blake of Portland, Maine, and a brother, Franklin J. Drew of Haywood, Calif.

MRS. GERTRUDE B. SEELEY – Mrs. Gertrude B. Seeley, 59, 111 2nd St., Brandon, died in a Lakeland hospital yesterday. A native of Ashland, Maine, she had lived in the area since 1959. She was a Baptist, a member and past matron of the Keystone Chapter 5 O.E.S. in Ludlow, Vt. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Elwood W. Seeley; one son, Kenneth D. Bartlett of Millinocket, Maine; two sisters, Mrs. Luella Blake of Portland, Maine, and Mrs. Shirley Dunn of Ashland, Maine.
SEELEY, MRS. GERTRUDE B. – Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude B. Seeley, 59, of 111 2nd Street, Brandon, will be held Wednesday evening at 6:30 P.M. at the Stowers Chapel with Rev. Jim Shearer officiating. Linsley Chapter No. 152 O.E.S. will conduct Eastern Star services. Cremation will follow. Arrangements by Stowers Funeral Home, Bradon.
