David Gene Seeley, formerly of Spearfish passed away Friday, June 1, 2007, at Swedish Hospital, Denver, Colo., after a lengthy illness.
David was born on April 29, 1949 to Helen and Eugene Seeley in Brookings. On Feb. 6, 1971 David was united in marriage to Cathy Lipp, from this union three children we born, Cristian David (Gabrielle) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Stephanie Ann, of Littleton, Colo., and Michael Joseph (Jennifer) of Conifer, Colo.
David is survived by his wife Cathy, his three children and three grandchildren, Samuel, Brittany and Brant Seeley. David is also survived by his parents Helen and Eugene Seeley of Sun City, Ariz., a sister Debbie (Charlie) Fanning of Laramie, Wyo., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton with Cremation to follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. in the Church vestibule. A Memorial has been established in David’s honor at the Kern Research Foundation, 7500 E Dartmouth Ave., #30 Denver, CO 80231.
